So Battlefield: Bad Company for PS3 - this is one of those classic first-person shooter games that really changed things up. The single-player campaign is set in this near-future Eurasian conflict where you're part of a squad of four soldiers who basically go AWOL on a personal quest. It's got this great storyline with plenty of attitude - these guys are renegades who decide that sometimes the gratitude of a nation just isn't enough, you know? But the really cool thing is the destructible environments - like 90% of everything can be blown up. You can create sniping positions by blowing out walls, drive tanks straight through houses, all that good stuff. The battlefield is always changing, which forces you and the enemies to adapt. It uses DICE's Frostbite game engine, which was pretty cutting-edge for its time with great HD graphics. There's also full multiplayer support for up to 24 players online. The shooting experience feels really authentic too - they call it the 'Through the gun' experience with all these subtle improvements to the FPS formula. If you're into military shooters with personality and want to blow stuff up in creative ways, this is definitely worth checking out.
